Refund policy

Globie: Refundable only while the eSIM is not activated; once data has been used, a partial refund may be considered at their discretion. Also refunded: confirmed Globie-side install faults, confirmed no coverage, incorrect or duplicate charges. Not refunded: incompatible phones, used eSIMs, expired plans. Request within 30 days by email with the order number; up to 10 business days.

Sim Local: Full refund within 14 days if the eSIM has not been activated, no questions asked; failed activations caused by a technical issue are refunded even outside that window.

Validity starts

Globie: Install within 180 days of purchase (product pages list 180 pre-activation days). Activation is at install/enable or first data use; the plan ends when data runs out or the validity period expires, whichever comes first.

Sim Local: Validity trigger varies by network operator - some start counting when the eSIM is installed, others only on first connection at your destination; check the specific plan for which applies.

Fair-use limit

Globie: Fixed-GB plans run at full speed with no reduction. "Unlimited" plans give 3GB per day at full speed, then unlimited data at 1 Mbps until the daily allowance resets every 24 hours (stated per plan on product pages and in the feed).

Sim Local: Unlimited plans include up to 10GB per day of full-speed data; consistently exceeding 10GB per day may trigger the Fair Use Policy and plan suspension, at the discretion of the network operator (no fixed throttle speed is disclosed).

Top-ups & rollover

Globie: Not offered yet: every plan is a one-time purchase. Product pages say the top-up feature is still being built and a new eSIM must be bought for more data (feed: canTopUp false on every plan).

Sim Local: Top-up ability and method depend on the network operator (for example the My3, EE, or Lycamobile apps or sites), accessed via Sim Local My eSIM account area; a few operators do not support top-ups at all.
