Frequently asked questions
How is pay-as-you-go different from a normal eSIM bundle?
A normal bundle is a fixed amount of data for a fixed number of days, at a set price. Pay-as-you-go is a prepaid balance — you're charged only for the data you actually use, at a per-GB rate, and the balance doesn't expire until you use it.
Is pay-as-you-go cheaper than a bundle?
It depends on how much data you actually use and how predictable your trip is. For light or unpredictable usage, or as a backup eSIM you top up occasionally, pay-as-you-go avoids paying for data you don't use — for a known, larger data need, a fixed bundle is often the better rate. Compare the $/GB rate above against a destination's bundle prices to see which works out cheaper for your trip.
