Refund policy

abesteSIM: Full/partial refund or replacement if the eSIM fails to install/activate/work due to a fault on abesteSIM's or the carrier's side, or works only intermittently. A 2.5 SGD or 10% (whichever is higher) processing fee applies for device-incompatibility/carrier-lock refunds. No refund for wrong purchases, an expired activation window, expired unused data, wrong checkout email, or once the eSIM has been installed.

Roam2Go: Full refund within 30 days of purchase if the eSIM hasn't connected or used any data (installing it doesn't count as use). If it doesn't work, a free replacement first, and a full refund if it can't be fixed within 10 days.

Validity starts

abesteSIM: Most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network and begins using data; some instead use a fixed start date or activate on installation — stated per plan on its own product page (per their FAQ).

Roam2Go: On most plans validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network in a covered country; on some plans it starts at installation (the eSIM email says which). Some plans have a maximum period from purchase to start using it.

Fair-use limit

abesteSIM: Some unlimited plans apply a fair-use policy after a high-speed threshold; others state a fixed speed cap (e.g. 5/10/20 Mbps) instead — varies per plan, check the product description (per their FAQ).

Roam2Go: Unlimited plans are never cut off: 1–10 GB a day at full speed depending on the plan, then usually 1–10 Mbps for the rest of the day, resetting daily. Some unlimited plans have no daily cap, up to 10 Mbps.

Top-ups & rollover

abesteSIM: No — abesteSIM does not currently support topping up an installed eSIM; buy a new plan once the existing allowance ends (per their FAQ).

Roam2Go: On plans that support it, top up the same eSIM from "My eSIMs"; depending on the plan the top-up is queued until the current plan ends or added to it. Unused data doesn't carry over.

Lost device / reinstalling

abesteSIM: A lost/misplaced QR code can be resent by contacting support (email or live chat) before installation, when eligible. Once installed, an eSIM is bonded to that device and can't be transferred or reissued — contact support about a replacement rather than a reissue.

Roam2Go: Depends on the plan: some can be reinstalled a limited number of times on the same phone, others only once (the QR email says which). A deleted eSIM can't be recovered; a free replacement is given for technical faults.

Billing currency

abesteSIM: Users in Canada, Europe, the UK, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and the USA can pay in their local currencies; users in other regions are billed in SGD.

Roam2Go: Prices in EUR by default. If you choose or are shown USD, GBP or CAD, the price is converted at their daily rate and charged in that currency; your bank may add its own fees.
