Refund policy

abesteSIM: Full/partial refund or replacement if the eSIM fails to install/activate/work due to a fault on abesteSIM's or the carrier's side, or works only intermittently. A 2.5 SGD or 10% (whichever is higher) processing fee applies for device-incompatibility/carrier-lock refunds. No refund for wrong purchases, an expired activation window, expired unused data, wrong checkout email, or once the eSIM has been installed.

Roamix: Refunds within 14 days of purchase for plans that haven't been installed or activated; once activated a plan is non-refundable except for technical issues reviewed case by case.

Validity starts

abesteSIM: Most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network and begins using data; some instead use a fixed start date or activate on installation — stated per plan on its own product page (per their FAQ).

Roamix: Validity/usage begins on Activation (installation, first network session, or a published activation window), not simply at purchase, per Roamix's Terms.

Fair-use limit

abesteSIM: Some unlimited plans apply a fair-use policy after a high-speed threshold; others state a fixed speed cap (e.g. 5/10/20 Mbps) instead — varies per plan, check the product description (per their FAQ).

Roamix: All plans include full-speed, unthrottled 4G/5G data with no Fair Use Policy or speed cap.

Top-ups & rollover

abesteSIM: No — abesteSIM does not currently support topping up an installed eSIM; buy a new plan once the existing allowance ends (per their FAQ).

Roamix: Existing eSIMs can be topped up directly from the Roamix account dashboard without reinstalling.

Lost device / reinstalling

abesteSIM: A lost/misplaced QR code can be resent by contacting support (email or live chat) before installation, when eligible. Once installed, an eSIM is bonded to that device and can't be transferred or reissued — contact support about a replacement rather than a reissue.

Roamix: A deleted eSIM can be reinstalled only on the exact same device with the original QR code; it can't be transferred to a new or replacement phone, so contact support before switching phones.

Billing currency

abesteSIM: Users in Canada, Europe, the UK, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and the USA can pay in their local currencies; users in other regions are billed in SGD.

Roamix: Checkout is generally priced in USD; taxes, foreign-exchange charges, and payment-processor fees may apply depending on your location/payment method.
