Refund policy

esimgenius: Full refund only if the eSIM never activates in the destination country (install/connect failure, incompatible/carrier-locked phone, or the supplier under-delivers data). Wrong-destination purchases are case-by-case if reported within 24h, not guaranteed. Refunded via Stripe within 1 business day (banks take 5-10 more days).

OffWeGoSIM: Full refund for an unused, unactivated plan that has not expired (installation alone doesn't disqualify it unless it triggers activation); a faulty plan that can't be fixed on a compatible, unlocked phone is refunded in full.

Validity starts

esimgenius: Validity starts at first network connection, not at purchase. An eSIM that has not been activated stays usable for up to 12 months after purchase.

OffWeGoSIM: Each plan states its activation rule; plan pages show validity starting on first connection to a supported network and activation required within 180 days of purchase. Some plans may start on installation, so check the rule before installing.

Fair-use limit

esimgenius: Unlimited plans state no daily data caps or cutoffs from esimgenius itself, but local carrier partners may throttle/restrict on atypical usage as an anti-abuse measure -- no specific threshold stated.

OffWeGoSIM: Fixed-data plans only: no unlimited plans or fair-use throttling; service ends when the data allowance or validity runs out.

Top-ups & rollover

esimgenius: Every plan, including regional and global ones, tops up on the same eSIM within seconds: no new QR code, no reinstall. Top up from the app or the site.

OffWeGoSIM: Eligible eSIMs can add data from My eSIMs → Add data; the top-up goes onto the existing eSIM with no new profile. Not every eSIM supports top-ups.
