Refund policy

esimgenius: Full refund only if the eSIM never activates in the destination country (install/connect failure, incompatible/carrier-locked phone, or the supplier under-delivers data). Wrong-destination purchases are case-by-case if reported within 24h, not guaranteed. Refunded via Stripe within 1 business day (banks take 5-10 more days).

Quibity: Refund only while the eSIM is still not installed, within 180 days of purchase, self-served from My eSIMs: free to your Quibity balance, or $2.50 per eSIM back to the original card; installed eSIMs, top-ups and Global pay-per-use eSIMs aren't refundable.

Validity starts

esimgenius: Validity starts at first network connection, not at purchase. An installed-but-never-activated eSIM is held for 90 days by their supplier before the QR can expire.

Quibity: Depends on the eSIM: some start counting days only when they connect in the destination, others as soon as you scan the QR code — the activation email says which.

Fair-use limit

esimgenius: Unlimited plans state no daily data caps or cutoffs from esimgenius itself, but local carrier partners may throttle/restrict on atypical usage as an anti-abuse measure -- no specific threshold stated.

Quibity: Unlimited plans get a full-speed allowance per 24-hour period (from first connection), then speed drops for the rest of that period; the exact allowance and reduced speed are shown on each plan page, never an extra charge.

Top-ups & rollover

esimgenius: Not confirmed yet

Quibity: An active eSIM can be topped up from "My eSIMs" only if that specific plan was marked rechargeable at purchase — not a blanket top-up guarantee across the catalog.
