Refund policy

esimgenius: Full refund only if the eSIM never activates in the destination country (install/connect failure, incompatible/carrier-locked phone, or the supplier under-delivers data). Wrong-destination purchases are case-by-case if reported within 24h, not guaranteed. Refunded via Stripe within 1 business day (banks take 5-10 more days).

TripoSIM: Full refund if the eSIM hasn't been installed/activated, requested within 30 days of purchase, or there was a technical/provisioning issue or billing error on TripoSIM's end. No refund once activated (data used), after expiry, for an incompatible/locked device, for poor local coverage, or for unused leftover data. Request via [email protected] (24-48h review); approved refunds post in 5-10 business days.

Validity starts

esimgenius: Validity starts at first network connection, not at purchase. An installed-but-never-activated eSIM is held for 90 days by their supplier before the QR can expire.

TripoSIM: Validity countdown starts on first data use, not at purchase or installation -- you can install weeks ahead without losing any time. Unused data does not roll over once the validity period ends.

Fair-use limit

esimgenius: Unlimited plans state no daily data caps or cutoffs from esimgenius itself, but local carrier partners may throttle/restrict on atypical usage as an anti-abuse measure -- no specific threshold stated.

TripoSIM: Unlimited plans give 1GB/day of full-speed data (2–5GB/day on 'Plus' plans), then slow to about 512 kbps (1 Mbps on Plus; 256–384 kbps in Japan, South Korea and China) until the 24-hour reset.

Top-ups & rollover

Lost device / reinstalling

esimgenius: Not confirmed yet

TripoSIM: Each QR code is single-use on one device by design. If you accidentally delete it, contact [email protected] -- a reinstall is offered case by case, not guaranteed.
