Refund policy

Global YO: Full refund within 30 days for unused (not activated) eSIM. Purchases are generally non-refundable once the product is delivered, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law or app-store rules.

Yesim: Refunds within 30 days of purchase only if the plan/top-up hasn't been activated, used or expired (installing the eSIM profile counts as activation); approved refunds go to the original payment method, but amounts of €10 or less are credited as Ycoins.

Validity starts

Global YO: A 1-day eSIM is valid for 24 hours from activation, not until midnight.

Yesim: You select a desired activation time when purchasing a plan in the app -- validity is not automatically triggered at purchase.

Fair-use limit

Global YO: -Basic Unlimited:1 GB/day of high-speed data - Premium Unlimited:2 GB/day of high-speed data. After that, speeds drop to about 512 kbps, but the plan stays unlimited and data keeps working.

Yesim: Yesim itself does not enforce a Fair Usage Policy on its Unlimited plans, but some of its partner network providers may apply their own FUP as part of their own terms, per Yesim's Help Center.

Top-ups & rollover

Global YO: Top up an active eSIM anytime from the "My eSIM" area.

Yesim: Additional data can be bought at any time from the Yesim app or website, added to the same eSIM.

Lost device / reinstalling

Global YO: No — if the eSIM is deleted, the device is lost, factory-reset, or you switch phones, the QR code is single-use and the eSIM can’t be reinstalled. What to do instead: 1. Buy a new eSIM in the app, or 2. Contact support to review replacement options

Yesim: Yesim eSIM profiles use a one-time activation code -- don't remove the profile or rescan the QR code, as that can wipe your settings; if lost or it fails to install, contact Yesim support for a new QR code.

Billing currency

Global YO: Customers are charged in USD at checkout.

Yesim: Based on the pre-selected currency on the account. Yesim accepts EUR, AUD, CAD, PLN, GBP, USD
