Refund policy

Rufly: Refund on request if the eSIM has not been installed or used; generally non-refundable once activated and data has been used. If a plan fails because of a fault on their side that they cannot resolve, a replacement or a fair refund. Refunds go to the original payment method.

Yesim: Refunds within 30 days of purchase only if the plan/top-up hasn't been activated, used or expired (installing the eSIM profile counts as activation); approved refunds go to the original payment method, but amounts of €10 or less are credited as Ycoins.

Validity starts

Rufly: Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network.

Yesim: You select a desired activation time when purchasing a plan in the app -- validity is not automatically triggered at purchase.

Fair-use limit

Rufly: Every plan is unlimited: 500 MB a day at full speed (up to 4G/LTE), then 5 Mbps for the rest of that day; after the trip allowance (30 GB on 7-day, 45 GB on 15-day, 70 GB on 30-day plans) 512 Kbps for the remaining days. Never cut off.

Yesim: Yesim itself does not enforce a Fair Usage Policy on its Unlimited plans, but some of its partner network providers may apply their own FUP as part of their own terms, per Yesim's Help Center.

Top-ups & rollover

Rufly: No top-ups — every plan is unlimited.

Yesim: Additional data can be bought at any time from the Yesim app or website, added to the same eSIM.

Lost device / reinstalling

Rufly: Yes, the eSIM can be reissued if a device is lost or the profile is deleted.

Yesim: Yesim eSIM profiles use a one-time activation code -- don't remove the profile or rescan the QR code, as that can wipe your settings; if lost or it fails to install, contact Yesim support for a new QR code.
