ID verification

Eskimo: Not confirmed yet

Roamify: Not required

Refund policy

Eskimo: ESKIMO GUARANTEE: if you cannot install the eSIM or connect to the network, contact 24/7 live chat for immediate verification and refund. Once connected, any remaining data balance is non-refundable if the account is later cancelled or terminated.

Roamify: Unused/unactivated eSIM purchases are eligible for review within 7 calendar days of purchase (must not be activated, installed, or consumed). Approved refunds are issued within 3 business days; banks/card networks may take a further 5-10 business days to post funds.

Validity starts

Eskimo: Data plans have no expiration date. Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network (or transfers data), and the remaining balance never expires unless the account itself is cancelled.

Roamify: Service begins immediately once the eSIM is downloaded and its data plan activated — validity starts on activation, not at purchase.

Fair-use limit

Eskimo: Fixed data plans have no daily caps or throttling (full speed); Unlimited day passes give 3GB high-speed per day, then unlimited at 1 Mbps.

Roamify: Unlimited plans are subject to a stated Fair Use Policy (preventing fraud/abuse), but no numeric high-speed cap or throttle speed is published — Roamify reserves the right to suspend/throttle without a stated threshold.

Top-ups & rollover

Eskimo: Top up from the Eskimo app or website: the new plan is added instantly to your existing eSIM with no reinstallation and kicks in when the current plan reaches 0 MB.

Roamify: Top-up is available in-app for supported eSIMs (not all — the app itself states when a plan can't be topped up), up until 2 hours before the plan expires.
