Refund policy
Superalink:
Refunds only if the eSIM has not been activated and no data has been used; QRIS purchases must be requested within 7 days of purchase.
Ubigi:
Refunds only for unused plans โ a plan can't be refunded once you start using it. Requests within 14 business days of purchase, processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
Maya Mobile:
Full refund (less processing fees) within 30 days if no data has been used โ including incompatible or carrier-locked devices; partial refunds proportionate to unused data for Maya-side network issues.
AirPlans:
Full refund within 30 days if the eSIM was never installed or activated, wasn't delivered, or had a verified unresolved technical failure; installed plans and wrong-destination purchases are non-refundable.
Validity starts
Superalink:
Starts once the eSIM installs and connects to the local network at your destination โ activation from home is possible, but Superalink recommends waiting until arrival; data isn't deducted until it connects there.
Ubigi:
Smartstart: the plan's validity countdown begins when you first connect at your destination, not at the moment of purchase. Preloaded eSIM QR codes must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase or they expire unused.
Maya Mobile:
Each plan runs for its full duration once activated in the app (turn the eSIM on when you land, not automatically at purchase); you're charged once at purchase regardless of how much data you use, and there are no partial refunds for unused days.
AirPlans:
On most plans validity begins the first time the eSIM connects to a supported network at the destination, not at purchase or install; AirPlans' Terms note some plans instead start on installation, as stated in each plan's terms.
Fair-use limit
Superalink:
On Unlimited plans, speed drops for the rest of the day once the daily high-speed allowance is used (no extra charge, resets the next day): 10GB/day to 5 Mbps, 5GB/day to 1 Mbps, 500MB-3GB/day to up to 384 Kbps.
Ubigi:
Unlimited plans run at full speed up to a threshold, then drop to 2 Mbps: about 15โ25 GB on 7-day country plans and 60 GB on 30-day regional plans, depending on the destination.
Maya Mobile:
Unlimited plans: speed may be temporarily throttled to 10 Mbps once daily usage exceeds 3GB, and to 1 Mbps if very high usage continues; any throttle is removed within 24 hours. Prepaid (fixed-GB) plans run at full local network speed.
AirPlans:
Unlimited plans come with a daily high-speed allowance (1GB, 2GB or 3GB per day depending on the plan), after which speed drops to a stated rate (512 Kbps to about 2 Mbps) until the next day. Both figures are published per plan in their feed and shown on each plan row here.
Top-ups & rollover
Superalink:

AirPlans:
Existing eSIMs can be topped up with more data from the My eSIMs screen in the app, no reinstall needed.
