Refund policy

Globie: Refundable only while the eSIM is not activated; once data has been used, a partial refund may be considered at their discretion. Also refunded: confirmed Globie-side install faults, confirmed no coverage, incorrect or duplicate charges. Not refunded: incompatible phones, used eSIMs, expired plans. Request within 30 days by email with the order number; up to 10 business days.

Ubigi: Refunds only for unused plans — a plan can't be refunded once you start using it. Requests within 14 business days of purchase, processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

Validity starts

Globie: Install within 180 days of purchase (product pages list 180 pre-activation days). Activation is at install/enable or first data use; the plan ends when data runs out or the validity period expires, whichever comes first.

Ubigi: Smartstart: the plan's validity countdown begins when you first connect at your destination, not at the moment of purchase. Preloaded eSIM QR codes must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase or they expire unused.

Fair-use limit

Globie: Fixed-GB plans run at full speed with no reduction. "Unlimited" plans give 3GB per day at full speed, then unlimited data at 1 Mbps until the daily allowance resets every 24 hours (stated per plan on product pages and in the feed).

Ubigi: Unlimited plans include a Fair Use full-speed data allowance before speed drops to 2 Mbps for the rest of the plan — the exact threshold is shown on each plan's own page. Messaging, email, maps, and light browsing remain usable at the reduced speed.

Top-ups & rollover

Globie: Not offered yet: every plan is a one-time purchase. Product pages say the top-up feature is still being built and a new eSIM must be bought for more data (feed: canTopUp false on every plan).

Ubigi: Existing Ubigi eSIMs can be recharged with a new data plan directly through the Ubigi app or ubigi.me account — even without Wi-Fi or remaining data — without installing a new eSIM.
