Nomad eSIM Discount Code: How Much You Can Really Save

If you price out a Nomad eSIM plan on their own site, nothing at checkout tells you a discount code exists โ€” you have to arrive already knowing one. Nomad eSIM currently runs a real, working 15% code, and the box below reads it live from the same database that prices every plan on this site. If the code ever changes or expires, this page updates the moment our data does โ€” no stale screenshots, no "try this code from last year."

What Nomad eSIM Actually Offers

Nomad eSIM is one of the larger catalogs we track: 906 active plans across 130 destinations, priced from $2.00 up to $120.00 at the long-validity end, averaging around $21 per plan. Two structural things stand out once you look at the whole catalog rather than one country page.

First, everything is single-country. Unlike providers that lean on regional or global bundles, every one of those 906 plans is priced for one specific destination โ€” which is exactly why Nomad eSIM can be dramatically cheap in one country and merely average in the next. Thailand is the famous example: $6.00 for 3GB/30 days and $10.00 for 10GB/30 days are among the cheapest fixed-data prices we track anywhere.

Second, the duration spread is unusually wide. Most providers stick to 7/15/30-day cycles; Nomad eSIM sells real plans at 3, 5, 7, 10, 14, 15, 20, 21, 30 and 45 days, plus genuine long-haul options at 180 and 365 days โ€” a 75GB/180-day US plan at $89.00, and a 100GB/365-day one at $120.00. If your trip runs 10 or 20 days, you can usually buy exactly that instead of rounding up to a month.

How Much the Code Actually Saves You

A percentage on its own doesn't tell you much, so here's what 15% actually works out to on real Nomad eSIM plans, pulled straight from four destinations:

United States

  • 3GB / 30 days: $10.00 โ†’ $8.50 ($1.50 off)
  • 5GB / 30 days: $16.00 โ†’ $13.60 ($2.40 off)
  • 10GB / 30 days: $25.00 โ†’ $21.25 ($3.75 off)
  • 20GB / 30 days: $36.00 โ†’ $30.60 ($5.40 off)
  • 50GB / 30 days: $45.00 โ†’ $38.25 ($6.75 off)

United Kingdom

  • 3GB / 30 days: $9.00 โ†’ $7.65 ($1.35 off)
  • 10GB / 30 days: $17.50 โ†’ $14.88 (about $2.63 off)
  • 20GB / 30 days: $25.00 โ†’ $21.25 ($3.75 off)

Japan

  • 3GB / 30 days: $7.00 โ†’ $5.95 ($1.05 off)
  • 5GB / 30 days: $10.00 โ†’ $8.50 ($1.50 off)
  • 50GB / 30 days: $35.00 โ†’ $29.75 ($5.25 off)

Thailand

  • 3GB / 30 days: $6.00 โ†’ $5.10 (90 cents off)
  • 10GB / 30 days: $10.00 โ†’ $8.50 ($1.50 off)

You can see the live prices โ€” and every other Nomad eSIM plan for these destinations โ€” on the country-specific pages, for example Nomad eSIM's US plans or Nomad eSIM's Thailand plans. Those are the real prices at checkout; the second figure is the code applied on top.

The pattern is the same as most codes in this range: a couple of dollars off a mid-size monthly bundle, $5-7 off the big 20-50GB plans. Real money, but not the difference between an expensive provider and a cheap one โ€” Nomad eSIM's baseline pricing does more of the work than the code does, especially in destinations like Thailand and Japan where its fixed-GB tiers are already aggressive.

The Exclusions Are the Fine Print That Matters

This is where Nomad eSIM's code differs from most of the codes we track: the exclusion list is genuinely long, and it removes a meaningful slice of the catalog. The code does not apply to:

  • Unlimited plans โ€” all of them. That's 212 of the 906 plans, roughly a quarter of the catalog. If you were planning to buy, say, the US Unlimited 10-day at $32.00 with a discount, that combination simply doesn't exist.
  • Anything under $5. The cheapest entries โ€” like the $2.00 200MB US starter or the $4.00 1GB tiers in Japan and China โ€” are out. (The US 1GB at exactly $5.00 sits right on the line; if checkout rejects it, that's why.)
  • Plans already on sale. Nomad eSIM runs frequent sale pricing on individual plans, and the code won't stack on top of an active sale price.
  • Add-on data (top-ups on an existing eSIM).
  • The Thailand 50GB plan, specifically. Named in the terms, and it makes sense once you see the price: 50GB for 10 days at $12.00 is already one of the most aggressive prices we track anywhere, code or no code.

One more term worth knowing before you plan around it: the code is single-use per customer. It's a one-shot discount on one order, not a standing account benefit.

How to Actually Use the Code

Enter the code from the box above at Nomad eSIM's own checkout before paying โ€” it's a straightforward percentage-off code, so the lower price shows immediately once applied, not as cashback afterwards.

And a practical note that applies to promo codes generally, not just this one: reach the checkout through a link on this site (the "Get eSIM" button on any plan row, or the discount card above) rather than an old bookmark or a plain search result. Some codes are tied to a tracked referral path and may not be recognized if you arrive another way.

Is the Code Automatically the Best Deal?

Being direct about this, as always: 15% off Nomad eSIM's price says nothing about how that price compares to another provider's plan for the same destination. A provider with no code at all can still land cheaper overall if its starting price was lower โ€” and the reverse is just as true: in Thailand, Nomad eSIM without the code already undercuts most competitors' discounted prices.

The reliable way to shop is to check the actual cheapest plan for your destination first โ€” every country page here sorts by real price and shows price-per-GB and price-per-day so differently-sized plans compare fairly โ€” then see whether the code changes the answer. Our guide on how to compare eSIM prices before you buy walks through the full method.

FAQ

Does the Nomad eSIM code expire? It can โ€” codes are set by the provider and can change or lapse without notice. That's why this page reads the code live instead of printing it as fixed text: whatever shows in the box above is what's active today.

Why won't the code apply to my unlimited plan? Because unlimited plans are excluded across the board โ€” it's the single biggest carve-out in the terms. If you want the discount, the workaround is a large fixed-GB plan instead: the US 50GB/30-day at $45.00 drops to $38.25 with the code, which for most people covers a month as comfortably as unlimited would.

Can I use it together with a price-drop badge I see on a plan? A price-drop badge on this site just means that plan's price recently fell โ€” it's our tracking, not a Nomad eSIM promotion, so it doesn't conflict with the code. But note the separate "sale plans" exclusion: if Nomad eSIM itself is running a sale on that plan, the code won't stack on the sale price.

Is it really only usable once? Yes โ€” single-use per customer is in the terms. Use it on the largest order you're actually going to make, not on a $6 starter plan you're testing with.
