Refund policy

abesteSIM: Full/partial refund or replacement if the eSIM fails to install/activate/work due to a fault on abesteSIM's or the carrier's side, or works only intermittently. A 2.5 SGD or 10% (whichever is higher) processing fee applies for device-incompatibility/carrier-lock refunds. No refund for wrong purchases, an expired activation window, expired unused data, wrong checkout email, or once the eSIM has been installed.

MoodSIM: Not installed and within 14 days of purchase: full refund. Once installed (QR code scanned or one-tap install used): non-refundable. Top-ups and cryptocurrency payments are always non-refundable.

Validity starts

abesteSIM: Most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network and begins using data; some instead use a fixed start date or activate on installation — stated per plan on its own product page (per their FAQ).

MoodSIM: Shown per plan: "Upon Connect" plans start validity on first network connection at the destination (can install ahead of time); "Upon Install" plans start the moment the QR code is scanned. All eSIMs must be installed within 180 days of purchase.

Fair-use limit

abesteSIM: Some unlimited plans apply a fair-use policy after a high-speed threshold; others state a fixed speed cap (e.g. 5/10/20 Mbps) instead — varies per plan, check the product description (per their FAQ).

MoodSIM: Some plans apply a fair usage policy (mainly the daily-unlimited plans) — speed is reduced after the stated daily high-speed allowance, per the plan's own details. Not grounds for a refund.

Top-ups & rollover

abesteSIM: No — abesteSIM does not currently support topping up an installed eSIM; buy a new plan once the existing allowance ends (per their FAQ).

MoodSIM: Top-ups add both data and validity time. Optional auto top-up recharges automatically once remaining data falls below ~300MB, charging the saved card the plan's original price; a failed charge disables auto top-up rather than retrying. Not every plan supports top-up (shown per plan).
