Refund policy
Yesim:
Refunds within 30 days of purchase only if the plan/top-up hasn't been activated, used or expired (installing the eSIM profile counts as activation); approved refunds go to the original payment method, but amounts of โฌ10 or less are credited as Ycoins.
Superalink:
Refunds only if the eSIM has not been activated and no data has been used; QRIS purchases must be requested within 7 days of purchase.
Yatelo:
Refunds only for issues on Yatelo's side, requested within 30 days of purchase and only for unused data; used data is non-refundable and approved refunds may carry processing fees.
Airalo:
Self-service refund request from your account (My eSIMs > Package History > Request Refund) for wrong purchase, changed plans, installation issues, or a non-working eSIM โ expired or fully-used eSIMs aren't eligible. Wrong-purchase/changed-plans refunds go to Airmoney (their in-app credit) only; installation-issue/not-working refunds can go to Airmoney or your original payment method, taking 7-10 business days (up to 30 depending on your bank).
Validity starts
Yesim:
You select a desired activation time when purchasing a plan in the app -- validity is not automatically triggered at purchase.
Superalink:
Starts once the eSIM installs and connects to the local network at your destination โ activation from home is possible, but Superalink recommends waiting until arrival; data isn't deducted until it connects there.
Yatelo:
Your plan only starts counting once you connect -- the countdown begins at first network connection, not purchase.
Airalo:
Validity starts either when the eSIM connects to the destination network or at the moment of installation, depending on the specific plan โ check 'Additional Information > Activation Policy' on the plan page before buying to see which applies.
Fair-use limit
Yesim:
Yesim itself does not enforce a Fair Usage Policy on its Unlimited plans, but some of its partner network providers may apply their own FUP as part of their own terms, per Yesim's Help Center.
Superalink:
On Unlimited plans, speed drops for the rest of the day once the daily high-speed allowance is used (no extra charge, resets the next day): 10GB/day to 5 Mbps, 5GB/day to 1 Mbps, 500MB-3GB/day to up to 384 Kbps.
Yatelo:
Fixed-data plans hard-cap at the purchased allowance. Standard unlimited plans feature a daily high-speed cap and throttle speeds once crossed; Truly Unlimited plans have no daily cap. Plan details for all options explicitly state these terms prior to purchase.
Airalo:
Unlimited plans default to a 3GB-per-day full-speed allowance before throttling to 1 Mbps for the rest of that 24-hour period (counted from activation, not purchase); a different daily threshold is stated on the specific plan's page when it applies instead of the 3GB default.
Top-ups & rollover
Yesim:
Additional data can be bought at any time from the Yesim app or website, added to the same eSIM.
Superalink:
Enter your eSIM's ICCID on Superalink's Top Up page (My Voucher) to add data or extend โ no reinstall needed, though it only becomes available once the current package's validity ends or its data runs out.
Yatelo:
Add more data or buy a new plan anytime within the app.
Airalo:
Only plans marked 'rechargeable' (checkable under Additional Information before buying) can be topped up, via the My eSIMs > Top Up option in the app โ a non-rechargeable eSIM or one that changed carriers requires buying a new eSIM instead.
