- Validity starts
- On most plans validity begins the first time the eSIM connects to a supported network at the destination, not at purchase or install; AirPlans' Terms note some plans instead start on installation, as stated in each plan's terms.
- Fair-use limit
- Unlimited plans come with a daily high-speed allowance (1GB, 2GB or 3GB per day depending on the plan), after which speed drops to a stated rate (512 Kbps to about 2 Mbps) until the next day. Both figures are published per plan in their feed and shown on each plan row here.
- Top-ups & rollover
- Existing eSIMs can be topped up with more data from the My eSIMs screen in the app, no reinstall needed.
- Lost device / reinstalling
- A deleted AirPlans eSIM cannot be reinstalled with the same QR code/activation code -- each code works only once, so contact support before deleting anything if you might need it again.
