Refund policy

abesteSIM: Full/partial refund or replacement if the eSIM fails to install/activate/work due to a fault on abesteSIM's or the carrier's side, or works only intermittently. A 2.5 SGD or 10% (whichever is higher) processing fee applies for device-incompatibility/carrier-lock refunds. No refund for wrong purchases, an expired activation window, expired unused data, wrong checkout email, or once the eSIM has been installed.

FlexiRoam: Full refund if no data was used and a FlexiRoam technical fault could not be fixed during the trip (partial if data was used); partial refunds for intermittent service or downtime. No refund for unused data at expiry, device incompatibility/lock, or an installed plan bought by mistake. 5% admin fee; request within 120 days.

Validity starts

abesteSIM: Most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network and begins using data; some instead use a fixed start date or activate on installation — stated per plan on its own product page (per their FAQ).

FlexiRoam: Validity starts when you activate the plan or on a start date you schedule; a plan not activated within 90 days of purchase activates automatically (Terms §3.3, §3.6).

Fair-use limit

abesteSIM: Some unlimited plans apply a fair-use policy after a high-speed threshold; others state a fixed speed cap (e.g. 5/10/20 Mbps) instead — varies per plan, check the product description (per their FAQ).

FlexiRoam: Unlimited plans have a daily high-speed limit (3GB on the product pages); after it the speed is capped or the service pauses until the next day (Terms §21.2). Throttled speed not stated.

Top-ups & rollover

abesteSIM: No — abesteSIM does not currently support topping up an installed eSIM; buy a new plan once the existing allowance ends (per their FAQ).

FlexiRoam: Buy another plan onto the same eSIM in the app or website; buying the same plan again before it expires extends it and rolls unused data over where the plan includes Data Rollover (Terms §23).

Lost device / reinstalling

abesteSIM: A lost/misplaced QR code can be resent by contacting support (email or live chat) before installation, when eligible. Once installed, an eSIM is bonded to that device and can't be transferred or reissued — contact support about a replacement rather than a reissue.

FlexiRoam: Reinstall the existing eSIM on the same or a new phone from the app (Account > My SIMs > Install); support helps if the old device is unavailable.

Billing currency

abesteSIM: Users in Canada, Europe, the UK, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and the USA can pay in their local currencies; users in other regions are billed in SGD.

FlexiRoam: Charged in USD, or another currency you select on the site (Terms §3.9).
