Refund policy

abesteSIM: Full/partial refund or replacement if the eSIM fails to install/activate/work due to a fault on abesteSIM's or the carrier's side, or works only intermittently. A 2.5 SGD or 10% (whichever is higher) processing fee applies for device-incompatibility/carrier-lock refunds. No refund for wrong purchases, an expired activation window, expired unused data, wrong checkout email, or once the eSIM has been installed.

Jetpac: Installed eSIMs are non-refundable; refund or replacement within 30 days if the eSIM can't be installed due to a technical problem, plus a money-back guarantee for device incompatibility or local-network connection trouble.

Validity starts

abesteSIM: Most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network and begins using data; some instead use a fixed start date or activate on installation — stated per plan on its own product page (per their FAQ).

Jetpac: The eSIM can be activated any time within 3 months of purchase; the validity countdown itself starts only once you connect to a network overseas, not at purchase.

Fair-use limit

abesteSIM: Some unlimited plans apply a fair-use policy after a high-speed threshold; others state a fixed speed cap (e.g. 5/10/20 Mbps) instead — varies per plan, check the product description (per their FAQ).

Jetpac: Jetpac states there is no Fair Usage Policy or roaming data cap - the data you buy is the data you get, including unlimited hotspot/tethering on Unlimited packs.

Top-ups & rollover

abesteSIM: No — abesteSIM does not currently support topping up an installed eSIM; buy a new plan once the existing allowance ends (per their FAQ).

Jetpac: Set up the Jetpac eSIM once and top up with a new data plan via the Jetpac Global app each time you travel, without reinstalling.

Lost device / reinstalling

abesteSIM: A lost/misplaced QR code can be resent by contacting support (email or live chat) before installation, when eligible. Once installed, an eSIM is bonded to that device and can't be transferred or reissued — contact support about a replacement rather than a reissue.

Jetpac: To move to a new phone, delete the Jetpac eSIM on your old device, then re-scan the QR code from your original purchase confirmation email to reinstall it; if that fails, contact Jetpac support.

Billing currency

abesteSIM: Users in Canada, Europe, the UK, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and the USA can pay in their local currencies; users in other regions are billed in SGD.

Jetpac: Checkout offers a currency switcher to select your billing currency; default pricing/currency shown is USD.
