Refund policy

Always Mobile: 30-day refund policy from receiving the QR code, as long as the eSIM data plan is unused. Once installed and any data is consumed, the eSIM is non-refundable.

esimgenius: Full refund only if the eSIM never activates in the destination country (install/connect failure, incompatible/carrier-locked phone, or the supplier under-delivers data). Wrong-destination purchases are case-by-case if reported within 24h, not guaranteed. Refunded via Stripe within 1 business day (banks take 5-10 more days).

Validity starts

Always Mobile: Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to the local network at the destination, not at purchase.

esimgenius: Validity starts at first network connection, not at purchase. An eSIM that has not been activated stays usable for up to 12 months after purchase.

Fair-use limit

Always Mobile: Fixed-GB plans have no daily cap. Daily Unlimited plans include a fixed full-speed GB allowance per day, then throttle to a reduced speed (per-plan text on the site states a range, typically 384-512 Kbps, or a specific Mbps figure) until the next 24-hour reset.

esimgenius: Unlimited plans state no daily data caps or cutoffs from esimgenius itself, but local carrier partners may throttle/restrict on atypical usage as an anti-abuse measure -- no specific threshold stated.

Top-ups & rollover

Always Mobile: Top-up availability is set per plan (most fixed-GB and some Unlimited plans can be topped up via the link in the QR-code email; Daily Unlimited plans generally cannot).

esimgenius: Every plan, including regional and global ones, tops up on the same eSIM within seconds: no new QR code, no reinstall. Top up from the app or the site.

Lost device / reinstalling

Always Mobile: The eSIM can be installed on one device only and re-scanned multiple times on that same device, but cannot be transferred to a different device.

esimgenius: Just contact our support and they will replace it within 5 minutes.

Billing currency

Always Mobile: Billed in USD (Shopify store, native USD pricing).

esimgenius: USD only, tax-inclusive, charged via Stripe -- no other currency option found at checkout.
