- Validity starts
- Most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination (some start on installation, as the product page states); activate within 90 days of purchase; a day = 24 hours from activation.
- Fair-use limit
- Set per plan on the product page: most plans drop to a reduced speed (typically 128–384 kbps) after the high-speed allowance, daily or total, instead of cutting off; a few plans stop at the limit.
- Top-ups & rollover
- Standard eSIMs can't be topped up; buy a new plan when data runs out. eSIM Air supports top-ups anytime without reinstalling.
- Lost device / reinstalling
- Most eSIMs can be reinstalled or moved to a new phone by rescanning the original QR code; plans marked non-reinstallable on the product page are lost once deleted.
